Blu Gel opened it’s doors on the 1st of March 1999 by owners Shantal Benecke & Stephen Pretorius. Blu Gel has grown day by day, year by year. We recently celebrated our 23 years in business in the same location. With ample off street parking & 500m away from the busy N3 and on very busy road, our out of town and town clients find it easy to visit us. Through years of hard work and being consistent in our service to clients, we have built a clientele base that stretch far & wide, in their location, hair needs and demands.
We are a training salon, meaning we do our own inhouse training to staff & have trained many a stylist to become a trade tested qualified Stylist. This allowing them to achieve their own coals, be it staying at the salon, starting their own business, leaving for a different town or country, working on cruise liners, TV work, what ever direction they want to take in their career.
